Multi-platinum, GRAMMY Award winning Mexican Regional Mexican singer and songwriter Carín León will bring his highly anticipated De Sonora Para El Mundo Tour 2026 to Duluth’s Gas South Arena on Friday, June 12th, 2026. León took home the Grammy for Best Música Mexicana Album for his release Boca Chueca, Vol. 1. The 24-year-old singer is on fire with smash singles “Que Vuelvas” and “Primera Cita,” which has garnered the attention of many and brought a fresh sound to the Latin scene. A native of Hermosillo, León brings a new take to traditional banda with a blend of mariachi and norteño with elements of country and soul incorporated into his music.

His tour is traveling to multiple cities across Mexico, the United States and Canada, including shows in Hidalgo TX, Laredo TX, San Antonio TX, Brooklyn NY and Uncasville CT. Upcoming shows include Rosemont IL, Los Angeles CA, San Jose CA, Fresno CA, Salt Lake City UT and Portland OR.
Óscar Armando Díaz de León Huez, well known as Carín León, is a Mexican singer and songwriter. His music is a real blend of banda, mariachi, norteño, and sierreño music, with modern touches of country, soul, R&B, pop, rock, and flamenco. Hit songs by Carín León include “Que Vuelvas” (with Grupo Frontera), “Primera Cita”, “Según Quién” (with Maluma), “La Boda Del Huitlacoche”, “Alch Si”, “Corazon de Oro”, and many more.
The first volume of the album “Boca Chueca” won the first Grammy Award received by the singer for Best Música Mexicana Album. The renowned artist has won three Latin Grammys and in 2022 won Best Regional Mexican Song for “Como lo Hice Yo.” Three of his songs have hit number 1 on the Latin Airplay chart and seven songs have hit number 1 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart. León made history as the first Spanish-language artist to perform at both Coachella and the Grand Ole Opry in the same year and became the first música mexicana artist to perform at the Stagecoach country music festival in 2024. When the award-winning singer performed at RODEOHOUSTON, his show broke records as over 70,000 people attended his solo performance.

The 13,000 seat venue offers a variety of seating options including floor seats, lower section seats and upper section seats. With state-of-the-art house seating capacity reduction, Gas South Arena can transform into a 3,500 seat theater-style venue for special events.
