MIKU EXPO 2026

GEORGIA GAMERS — let’s power this thing up, log on, and get loud - and then rowdy!!! All my Duluth dreamers, Atlanta anime lovers, and Vocaloid diehards — it’s time to power up and step inside the simulation, because on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, the Gas South Arena is officially hosting one of the most futuristic, mind-bending, and visually electric nights of the year. That’s right — the one and only Hatsune Miku is bringing her MIKU EXPO 2026 North America Tour straight to town, and this stop is already looking like it’s going to be one for the record books. So whether you’ve been following her since the early “World Is Mine” days or just discovered her through Project DIVA, welcome to the ultimate projection party — where the IRL meets the metaverse live and in action - and everyone’s invited!

So — what exactly is MIKU EXPO!? It’s not your typical concert, that’s for sure - so listen up for the full 411. It’s a fully immersive 3D holographic performance by the world’s most famous digital pop star. Miku takes the stage as a full projection, backed by a live band and and enough LED's to make a blind person see all the  turquoise penlights, as fans sing, chant, and dance along to every beat. Expect a setlist that fuses the best of J-pop, EDM, and electro-rock, matched with lighting, animation, and production that makes the entire arena feels like we're playing Tron just how they did in the movies. It’s tech, it's fandom — and it's a new way that we see how the virtual world can actually interact in live spaces so seemlessly, and we're just along for the rifede to be honest!

And for those just catching up — here’s the lore. Hatsune Miku was created in 2007 by Crypton Future Media as part of Yamaha’s VOCALOID 2 software. She’s not a human singer but a voicebank — built from real vocal samples by actress Saki Fujita, powered entirely by the creativity of her global cohart of screaming fans. Since her debut, Miku has gone from studio software to full on internet anime baddie, performing at Budokan in Tokyo, Radio City Music Hall in New York, and The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, selling out every stop and turning concerts into global celebrations of internet-born music and imagination.

From classics like “Tell Your World,” “Senbonzakura,” “Ghost Rule,” “World Is Mine,” and “Blue Star” to new bangers straight out of her Project DIVA game universe, every MIKU EXPO is a once-in-a-lifetime ride. So Duluth — let’s make this night count. Grab your tickets, grab your gaming crew, bring all the anime audiophiles, too! And then - dance like you’re living inside the code. We'll see y'all real soon.
